428 New Lives in Christ!

“There before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.”
  Revelation 7:9

The Lord moved visibly across Harvest Bible Chapel’s five campuses, as seen in the 428 people who came forward to be baptized January 30 and 31. The gathering described by the Apostle John in Revelation 7—the focus of Senior Pastor James MacDonald’s message that weekend—was beautifully foreshadowed by the diversity of these lives made new.

From triumphant smiles to tears of joy to hands raised high in celebration, every reaction spelled praise to God for His perfect love! And on every campus, the congregation rejoiced with them, affirming with applause each public profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

“I became a mom five months ago, and the love that I have for my son doesn’t even begin to compare to the love that God has for me,” said a woman, declaring that she wanted everyone to know of her faith in Christ.

One young man confessed to having a strong will before deciding to give his life to Christ. After baptizing him, Pastor James said, “I declare in Jesus’ Name that your strong will belongs to the Lord now. And just as you were a hard rock that had to be broken, now you are strong in your faith in Jesus Christ and unswerving in your commitment to Him.”
