Laying Hold of New Life

How is God working at Harvest Turks & Caicos? Through new leadership and new life!

“The Lord is shaking up things here!” declares Tim Rezac, Senior Pastor of this island church, less than four months after arriving from Indiana with his wife, Patty.

Evidence of God’s work abounds, as displayed by eight who gave testimony to the new life they've found in Christ and publicly proclaimed their faith through baptism.

As this church body draws closer to God, faithful to His Word He is drawing closer to them (James 4:8), and tethering their hearts together with His love and protection.

One young man testified his life had been “empty, devoid of real purpose.” But upon embracing Jesus as Lord, “I know He has the right purpose for me, because I keep seeing ways to become a better man, husband and father.”

Volunteer leaders are being raised up to develop high-impact worship services, assimilate members, head the Children’s and Student Ministries and give shape to other key areas of church life.

Of the Children’s Ministry, Pastor Tim says, “we now have four age-related classes” on Sunday morning. “This is highly unusual on this island—to have adults concentrate on worship, while children worship on their level.”

“The enemy forces hate what is happening,” says Pastor Tim.

“These people are thirsty for straight-talking Bible teaching,” he adds. “They requested one thing from me—‘Lead us!’...“Patty and I are loving our new life and ministry. We have fallen in love with these people.”

Praise God for His work in revitalizing Harvest Turks & Caicos, which was without a permanent pastor for two years until Pastor Tim arrived. Pray with us that this church will continue to be guided by the Lord’s wisdom and guarded by His mighty hand.
