Called to bring the gospel to the people of Liberia, Moses Wheigar received his diploma of theology at the Salvation Army College in Tema, Ghana and completed his bachelor’s degree in theology in 2007 from the Wesleyan Seminary in Monrovia, Liberia.
Pastoring the Servants of God Outreach Ministries church since 1996, Moses led this local body in 2008 to transition into the first Harvest Bible Chapel on the African continent. Citing the Fellowship's strong biblically-based framework and focus on global evangelization through church planting, Moses and SOGOM share the same desires. "My people are loving and caring, willing to work for Christ despite their conditions. I feel the location of our church is where wants us to plant His church because the harvest is ready in this community."
Moses and his wife Ruth are the parents of four young daughters. His love for Christ and his passion for people have focused his determination to minister to their needs through God’s Word. Moses’ trust is implicitly in the Lord, and he is living proof of Psalm 34:8, “Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!”
