Prior to planting Harvest Palos, Ryan received his bachelor’s degree from Governors State University in 2000 and taught for several years in school districts of suburban Chicago. He left teaching to enter vocational ministry in 2004.
Ryan helped plant Crossroads Community Church and served there as Youth Pastor, Worship Director, Associate Pastor, and overseer of small groups. He then finished the residency program of the Harvest Training Center and received a Master’s Degree from Moody Bible Institute.
He and his wife Lauren have three children: Ellie, Cassie, and Jared.
