Situated in Grand Bassa County, Harmonville, Liberia is a farming community of 2,000 villagers. William started his ministry in the United Disciples of Christ Church and served as a pastor and helped many local churches who were without a leader. William and his wife, Eva have six children and have planted a SOGOM Harvest Bible Chapel in Harmonville.
Disciples were made when Pastor John of Harvest Buchanan and Pastor Moses of Harvest Paynesville visited this village to share the gospel. After several families gave their lives to Christ, recruitment began to find a man to shepherd, teach and preach God’s Word to those in this village. Pastor William answered the call and has been effective at raising a church and discipling believers to follow Christ.
Shaping Pastor William’s ministry is his longing for Christ’s second coming. Life in Harmonville is difficult and the hope that these believers have found in Christ is what causes them to share the good news of Jesus with boldness. This young church has a burning passion to prepare people to meet Christ and to minister holistically to those in surrounding villages.
