Born in Martinsville, Virginia. Came to faith at the age of seven and called to ministry at sixteen. Secular jobs included furniture assembly line and cabinetry work. Worked in radio as chief operator. Wrote curriculum for Sunday school, taught Bible classes while in college and high school Bible for one year. In September 2010 Sam resigned from his job and began praying about the possibility of becoming a church planter with Harvest Bible Fellowship. In March of 2011, he applied and was accepted into the Harvest Training Center for Church Planting. It is Sam’s desire to see God rise up a life giving, life changing and passionate church in Greenville, SC.
