Brett is passionate about leading God's people into a dynamic relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through the clear proclamation of God's Word. A native of southern Illinois, he has a bachelor's degree from Union University, a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages degree from Southwestern Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary.
Brett was redeemed by Christ at sixteen, began preaching at eighteen, and has served as a Senior Pastor since 1994. He has been a guest speaker at camps, retreats, college chapels, and various other venues.
A lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan, he also enjoys studying history, listening to jazz and classical music, and spending quality time with his family. He married way, way over his head when he exchanged vows with Lacey. They have been blessed with four wonderful children: Chase, Bryce, Grace Ann, and Esther.
