Rob Willey

    Senior Pastor, Harvest Davenport, Iowa

In 1988, Rob graduated from Wheaton College.  He then began trading commodities at the Chicago Board of Trade where he spent the next 11 years. Although Rob enjoyed his work, he had a growing desire to directly influence others for Christ. As a result, he left the corporate world for full-time ministry in January of 2000, joining a post-prison ministry. During this time, Rob conducted seminars and worked with Christian ex-cons to help them make the transition from prison back to society through the local church.

It was during this time that he and his wife, Becky felt God’s leading to join Harvest Bible Chapel Glen Ellyn (now Naperville), the first church plant of Harvest Bible Fellowship. Shortly thereafter, Rob began his Masters in Biblical Studies at Wheaton College, and joined the staff of Harvest as Pastor of Adult Ministries in June of 2001.

In May of 2004, feeling compelled to plant a church, Rob and Becky responded to God’s leading and began the work of establishing Harvest Bible Chapel in Davenport, IA. Little did they know that God would bless so quickly and abundantly. Just 18 months after launch, the church purchased a building and moved in a year later. Rob and Becky continue to be amazed at the growth, and how God is using the church to impact more and more lives.

Currently, Rob and Becky reside in Davenport and have three daughters, Jessica, Julia and Anna.
