Series: Brought Near (Now I Walk)
Scripture: Ephesians 4:17-24
A chasm separates every person from the God who created them. Everyone
knows it. It explains the emptiness so many feel in their lives, and
the search so many are on to find some kind of spiritual meaning.
The chasm exists because of our sin and only Jesus Christ can bridge
the gap. The great news is that “Now in Christ Jesus you who once were
far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Being Brought
Near to God answers life’s greatest questions and fulfills its deepest
longings.
In his Letter to the Ephesians, the Apostle Paul carefully explains
what it means to live for Jesus Christ. In these messages you will hear
that being Brought Near means that there are teachings we must learn
and accept (Now I Believe - chapters 1-3), there is a new life to be
lived that reflects the likeness of God himself (Now I Walk; chapter
4), there is blessing in right relationships (Now I Love; chapters 5,
6:1-9), and there is a call to be strong no matter the circumstances
(Now I Stand; chapter 6:10-24).
